A Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Kent Olson. The name "Kabson" is a compilation of the first names of my wife and kids.Above is my why, my family. (This photo is from a visit to Notre Dame. It was a bit of a trip being back with my kids after graduating many years ago).I graduated from Notre Dame (B.A) and Georgetown University (M.S).I grew up in the Midwest, hustling since I was a kid mowing lawns, and shoveling driveways. My Dad was a small business owner and entrepreneur.My background includes 20+ years of experience in business and management consulting, managing projects, teams and budgets to grow businesses.

  • Operating experience: Served as General Manager of a $50M business. Startup experience. Launched my own entrepreneurial ventures and co-founded startups. Led Marketing, Business Development and strategic initiatives.

  • Experience in business acquisition: Member of a deal team that acquired a business. Served as General Manager and grew profitability to $5M EBITDA
